We are closing the house, but not our heart

If one door closes, another one opens. Trusting the truth in this saying, we will be closing our house in Bahnstrasse 1/G3 in Hainfeld at the end of June.

A heads up, the association Herzverstand and it’s wonderful Board of Directors will remain active! We will remain untiringly motivated helping people, and work for solidarity in our society.

Franz Witzmann, our project manager, will remain reachable by email or phone. We all will continue to help with advice and action as much as we can.

We are now looking for an affordable place to continue with homework help and German language classes. We are optimistic, that we will be able to offer a viable solution in the fall.

We are grateful for the almost 8 years that we were able to stay in the Bahns

Easter Market Days with Herzverstand

Similar to the Christmas market, our club Herverstand will be responsible for the cafe at the Easter market in Kultursaal Hainfeld. We are looking forward to many visitors and interesting conversations!

We go on singing!

On january, 26 we met for the first time in order to sing.  We enjoyed it very much and so we decided to meet again. Besides, the Austrians learnt some words in ukrainian language.

Next singing circle: Thursday, not yet decided, at 6 p.m.

This initiative startet with the story Weihnachtsgeschichte, which Alexandra has written by the end of 2022 for our Blog. (Unfortunately the text is availabe only in German.) To put it in an nutshell: We invite especially Ukrainian people living in Hainfeld and of course all our Austrian friends.

The foto was done on march, 2 in the Comedor del Arte. On this day five Ukrainian people and four Austrians met there for singing. We also tried the famous song  „Oi u luzi tschervona kalyna pokhylylasia“, as a symbol of solidarity with the Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.

Werben für die gute Sache!

Wir haben erstmals einen Flyer gemacht, um unsere Arbeit vorzustellen sowie um neue engagierte Personen oder auch neue Mitglieder zu interessieren.

In nächster Zeit gibt es einige Anlässe für neue Begegnungen, u. a.:

Hainfelder Stadtflohmarkt

Nachdem der Hainfelder Stadtflohmarkt coronabedingt zwei Jahre lang nicht stattgefunden hat, freuen wir uns darauf, wieder teilnehmen zu können und durch Verkäufe etwas Geld für die Miete einzunehmen.

3. Stoff- und Wollflohmarkt

Elisabeth Hasler bietet heuer zum 3. Mal einen Stoff- und Wollflohmarkt in Hainfeld an. Wir werden mit unserem Verein wieder dabei sein und gespendete Stoffe verkaufen. So können wir hoffentlich etwas Geld für die Miete des „Comedor del Arte“ einnehmen.

Elisabeth Hasler zu ihrer Motivation : „Hier findet man Stoffe, Wolle und Häkelgarne, Nähzubehör, Strick- und Häkelnadeln, Knöpfe, Reißverschlüsse und andere Kurzwaren. Ich habe festgestellt, dass sich gerade während der Lockdowns viele Menschen wieder verstärkt der Handarbeit gewidmet oder die Gelegenheit genutzt haben, um das Stricken, Häkeln oder Nähen überhaupt erst zu erlernen. Durch Fehlkäufe und falsch eingeschätzte Stoff- oder Wollmengen bleiben immer wieder Reste im Schrank, die beim Flohmarkt neue Besitzer finden können.“

Workshop Designschachteln

Aufgrund des relativ großen Interesses am Workshop Designschachtel mit Franz Kodeska möchten wir das Projekt heuer fortsetzen. Wir werden wieder „Designschachteln“ aus Graupappe fertigen, die abschließend mit schönem Design- bzw. Tonpapier umklebt werden.
Papiere sind vohanden, gerne können aber auch eigene Papiere mitgebracht werden. Wichtig ist nur, dass das Papier nicht glatt , sondern rau ist, damit es gut verklebt werden kann. Diesmal werden wir auch versuchen, eine Lade einzubauen. Außerdem ist ein kleiner Notizzettelblock geplant.

Also this year, we will participate at the Flea Market in Hainfeld. It is a very special Flea Market. It stretches through the entire Hauptstrasse, and there is a large number of vendor booths with a great variety of offerings.
We are looking forward meeting people and shared experiences. Income from the sale at the market is an important budget item for Comedor del Arte.

4. Mai ist Markttag am Lebensgut Miteinander

Am 4. Mai findet wieder der Frühlingsmarkt am Lebensgut Miteinander in Rohrbach statt. Der Comedor del Arte wird dort auch mit einem Stand vertreten sein, um Basteleien und Taschen zu verkaufen.

Der Markt ist im und rund um den Gemüsegarten der LebensGut Landwirtschaft aufgebaut. Neben biologischen und vielfältigen Jungpflanzen der LebensGut Landwirtschaft gibt es auch handgemachte Naturkosmetik von Pflanzner Naturkosmetik, ess- und trinkbare Köstlichkeiten vom Hendlberghof, Kunstwerke für Haus und Garten von Blech & Eisen und Weiteres aus der Region zu erwerben und zu erkunden.

Wir freuen uns auf einen gemütlichen Tag und über Ihr Kommen!

Visit us at the Easter market

For the first time, “Wir Hainfelder” are organizing an Easter market.
Similar to Christmas, Comedor del Arte will participate at the market – offering food at a booth outside, and more creative offerings upstairs.
We will display and offer bags, and various home made arts and crafts for Easter. We are looking forward welcoming many visitors!

Liebe Freundinnen und Freunde des Comedor del Arte!

Auch heuer stellen wir wieder am Kreativmarkt in Hainfeld aus. Franz wird mit dem Küchenteam im Innenhof des Gemeindezentrums stehen. Heuer erstmals mit Unterstützung einer Fritteuse, die wir uns geleistet haben, damit die Bolanis auch wirklich frisch und heiß serviert werden können.

Alexandra wir mit ihrem Team im ersten Stock zu finden sein und dort eigene Erzeugnisse wie Yogapölster, Augenpölsterchen, Fußmatten, Schürzen, getrocknete Steinpilze sowie 1000taschen-Produkte verkaufen. Außerdem werden wir Designschachteln aus Papier ausstellen, die wir in einem Workshop mit Franz Kodeska lernen zu produzieren.

Wir freuen uns über Besucher und Besucherinnen und auch über viele Gelegenheiten, wieder einmal miteinander zu plaudern!

Kreativmarkt Hainfeld

We are fortunate that allround artist Julia Dossi will visit us at Comedor for the third time. This time we will make silhouette paper cuts with snow flake motifs. For inspiration, she will share with us pictures with microscopic images of actual snow flakes. The workshop is suited for adults and children, talented or not so talented craftspeople. Some of the work we will stick on cardboard, and sell as Christmas cards at the upcoming Hainfelder Kreativmarkt.

If you have scissors and colored paper at home, feel free to bring it. We will certainly provide enough of it for participants.

Workshop making rope carpet

Elfi Hasler from Hainfeld is an enthusiastic mountain climber. And one day she made doormats out of her old climbing ropes.

On November 16in the afternoon, we will try this upcycling of old climbing ropes. The finished products will be sold at the Hainfelder Kreativmarkt.
